German Marching Compass

This compass is a military 'marching' compass graduated in mils. I think this may be a post WW-II era West German military compass based on the magnet, which appears to be AlNiCo.

The mirror is polished metal, and the points as well as the directional  arrow were probably luminous at one time. Note the "O" instead of "E" cardinal point. The mirror is in good shape, however the hinge is a bit loose, and the mirror needs to be held in position while shooting a bearing.
