This compass was purchased in 2003 on eBay for the purpose of carrying with me during geocaching.

- Other: Tritium capsules provide illumination with no light source required.. To demonstrate the difference between modern illuminated compasses and older models which used Radium, I tried to get the GM-10 to register any radiation coming from this compass, and was unable to. In fact, the aluminum case appeared to cause the background radiation from elsewhere in the room to drop a couple of points.
