In reference to Mr. Jack Penkethman's column in The Dispatch on March 24, "class on evolution long overdue."

Here is the reasoning behind why evolution NEVER HAS BEEN and should NOT be taught in our public schools.

There is not any concrete evidence in existence to support the "theory of evolution." Human history reaches barely past 4000 B.C. (Before Christ).  Solid archeological data supports this via information gathered from the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Babylon/Mesopotamia (present day Iraq) and along the Nile river en Egypt.

Mr. Colin Patterson, senior paleontologist and editor of a prestigious journal at the British Museum of Natural History stated the following:  "there is no real evidence of evolutionary transitions either among living or fossilized organisms."

Sir Frederick Hoyle, the world's most eminent astronomer, stated that the chance that life may have emerged through biological evolution in our solar system is impossible, there simply is not enough time for that to have occurred.  In addition he states; "it's as likely as a tornado sweeping through a junkyard and assembling a Boeing 747 jet from the materials therein."

The fossil records show of no such progression of animals evolving outside of their own species.  Evolutionists can only produce a fossil record that shows the immediate appearance of fully developed species (exactly what those believe the Biblical account of Creation would expect)!

Dr. Robert Gage, the award winning NASA research scientist described evolution as "the secret and irrational worship of interstellar dust under the guise of atheism."

Here are 10 arguments against evolution:

1. The fossil records show no evidence/progression of it
2. The "horse series" illustrates that there is no evolution from one species to another.
3. The "ape series" shows for all practical purposes that we are not even evolving.
4. Evolution can/has never been observed, no new species has ever been developed in a laboratory, through animal husbandry or any other means to support evolution outside the original species.
5. Mutant fruit flies, which are chance mutations from random gene mutations within an organism cannot occur because mutation are always "negative," resulting in chromosome damaged offspring.
6. The Quest for Time - time ran out in the evolutionists theory for development of new species (that is why they added billions of years to the evolving of species).
7. Geological dating - for evolutionists, "fossils date the rocks and the rocks date the fossils."  This is a circular rat-race!  There are massive graveyards around the world where simple and complex lifeforms lie side-by-side, this testifies to a global catastrophe like The Flood in the first book of the bible, Genesis.
8. Dating the age of the Earth; most of the chemical processes indicate by reliable data that the Earth is thousand of year old NOT Millions or billions of years.
9. Evolution as "developing complexity"; contrary to this theory every natural system without the input of energy move in the direction of "order" TO "disorder" not vice versa!  This is a simple rule that we all learned in the earliest of science classes.
10. The complexity of Human Cells - Darwin proposed the biological understanding of living cells in a simplistic manner.  However, since the advent of the electron microscope, we now know that the individual cell is a very complex unit.  The mathematical chance of the evolution of a complete system/animal is "more than astronomical," it is impossible.
